Biography
Juhi being a gifted musician and composer always produces her own kind of music genre especially soulful and fresh songs reflecting therein melodies of romance, showcasing nostalgic memories, feeling of loneliness in songs and poetry.
The purpose behind it is always to soothe the listeners heart and soul.
Lyrics as her own having wonderful combination of words and rhythm itself is the testimony of it.
Nagpur, the orange city of India being her native place, she feels herself lucky to be born to the parents who were associated with art.
Her father passionate towards music took lessons from popular music teachers in the city. Collecting notations of popular songs & ghazals and playing music instruments were his obsession throughout his youth.
Similarly her mother discovered the writing skills at a young age while studying in urdu surroundings by impressing people around with her poetry. Watching them practicing she grew up playing harmonium and tabla. Being engrossed completely she joined music classes for formal training in Shastriya Sangeet.
After years of preparation and dedication she passed the music exams with flying colours from renowned music institute Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
She used to practice Ragas, Film songs and Ghazals playing Harmonium everyday with her elder sister who is a skilled Tabla player. They have always been the centre point of a attraction whenever the cultural programs held in society, schools and at other music competitions.
Juhi was the favourite student of her music teacher and was always pushed first for playing tabla and singing prayer everyday during her school times. She won prices on several occasions at ‘Hindi Vidarbha Sahitya Sammelan’ which is city’s well known platform for artists.
The praise and applause led them finally move to city of dreams Mumbai for further opportunities.
Aiming clearly towards music she moved ahead in the same field academically to learn making music videos. She is a graduate in Visual Communication and Film making from a well known Media Institute in Mumbai.
Taking a notch up by learning the western music and instruments like Drums and guitar she continued to pile up the collection of her writings all these years.
Besides music Juhi is enchanted by YOGA since an early age. Later she opted for professional training to teach and help people with its benefits.
While completing her higher studies in Mumbai she was blessed with an opportunity to represent India at Miss Tourism International beauty pageant on the basis of her talent of music and dance. Following the achievement, she was offered to get featured in some commercial ads and music videos.
After working as an actor for some years she could not resist herself from hearing her inner calling for music.
In late 2022 she finally decided to begin her music journey and bring the songs out of her diaries and let the world meet a hidden musician in her.
Blending her film making skills with music she started ‘Juhi on loop’ to offer audio and visual treat to the audience. Releasing poetry and songs one after one and bringing them live on all major streaming platform, we foresee a rising artist ready to make a mark.
